CIC’s new 26,000 sq. ft. facility is located at 33 Rossotto Drive, Hamden, CT 06514
Carlton Industries Corporation (CIC) has expanded to meet the needs of their customers and to add new technology to their production floor. They have relocated to a new facility still located in Hamden, Connecticut. Brad Carlton, the President of Carlton Industries, states:
“I have skilled employees here at Carlton Industries and I believe in keeping the business in Hamden in order to satisfy my team and our customers.”
Carlton Industries’ new manufacturing facility at 33 Rossotto Drive in Hamden, CT is very close to their former location and just minutes off Interstate 91.
The new location is a stand-alone building with 26,000 sq. ft. and is located in the Sherman Avenue Industrial Area in Hamden. The new manufacturing facility has significant upgrades including state-of-the-art electrostatic discharge (ESD) systems such as ESD conductive flooring and humidity controls. Fully documented and controlled access to the manufacturing floor is achieved via Desco ESD testing turnstiles for assemblers and operators.
Carlton Industries had a strategic plan in place. “The transition was a seamless process”, says Brad Carlton, “We built products in advance to meet all of our customers’ needs”. Carlton Industries also had equipment working in both buildings simultaneously to ensure the seamless transition.
